Moly-Mag™ 5-0-0 is recommended for growth-oriented programs such as new orchard plantings or leafy green crops. It can be used as a bloom spray to increase fruit set and bloom return. Moly-Mag contributes to higher yield in early season applications, enhances plant vigor, and improves quality and finish of crops.

For Growth-Oriented Programs
While Moly-Mag supplies 5% Nitrogen, 4% Magnesium and 1% Molybdenum, the primary use is to supply Molybdenum to crops, an essential part of the nitrate reductase enzyme necessary to reduce nitrate nitrogen to the amino form.
Mo controls all plant and soil nitrogen transformations
Soil: NH4 + bacteria + Mo = NO2- +bacteria + Mo = NO3
Foliage: NO3- + enzyme + Mo = NO2- +enzyme + Mo = NH4+
